ADRIANA GARRETT

Hi, I’m Adriana. I believe therapy should be a place where you can exhale, feel heard, and show up exactly as you are.

I work with adults navigating the challenges that come with aging, caregiving, changing family roles, grief, stress, anxiety, and major life transitions. I have a special passion for supporting older adults and caregivers, including those in the “sandwich generation” who may be caring for aging parents while also supporting children, partners, or other family members.

These seasons of life can bring complicated emotions—worry, guilt, exhaustion, grief, resentment, uncertainty, and even questions about your own identity and needs. When so much of your energy is focused on taking care of everyone else, it can be easy to lose sight of yourself. Therapy gives you a space where you don’t have to be the caregiver, problem-solver, or strong one. You get to focus on you.

My approach is warm, calm, genuine, and collaborative. Therapy can address difficult things without feeling heavy every session. You don’t need to arrive with the perfect words or know exactly what you want to change. We can figure that out together.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Humanistic approaches, tailoring therapy to your needs, experiences, and goals. Together, we may work on managing stress and anxiety, adjusting to changing roles, setting healthy boundaries, processing grief and loss, strengthening coping skills, and finding ways to care for yourself while still caring about the people you love.

I’ll listen without judgment, encourage you, gently challenge you when it may help, and celebrate the progress you make along the way. Above all, I want you to feel seen, supported, and understood.

If you’re looking for a therapist who is compassionate, down-to-earth, and easy to talk to, I’d love to connect.

Come as you are. We’ll start there.
