LYDIAH NGUGI

Being the strong one can be exhausting. You may be managing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, or family responsibilities while still showing up for everyone else. If you’re navigating life between cultures, adjusting to a new country, or facing immigration or refugee-related challenges, it can be especially hard to find a space where you feel understood.

I’m an LMSW under clinical supervision with more than 16 years of experience in child welfare, psychiatric and mental health settings, immigration-related concerns, LGBTQ+ issues, adolescent care, and addiction services. I work with individuals, couples, and families facing mental health concerns, substance use, and relationship challenges.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in your strengths. I’ll make space for your culture and experiences as we work toward greater clarity, healing, and meaningful change. You don’t have to figure everything out before reaching out.
