Children & Adolescents • Young Adults • Women • Individuals Impacted by Trauma & Domestic Violence

Life transitions and difficult experiences can affect us in ways we may not always understand.

Changes in relationships, family, school, work, or other circumstances can leave us feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or unsure of how to move forward. I believe therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what you are experiencing, and figure out what you need.

I am an LMSW under clinical supervision with a particular interest in working with children, young adults, and women. I enjoy supporting clients through life transitions, stress, grief, relationship challenges, and experiences of trauma. I am especially interested in working with individuals who have experienced domestic or interpersonal violence. My professional experience with individuals impacted by violent crime has deepened my compassion for people who may be carrying difficult experiences that are not always visible to others.

I bring a calm, steady, and encouraging presence to my work with clients. I value genuine listening and believe therapy should be collaborative and individualized. Rather than assuming I know what is best for you, I want to understand your experiences, what brought you to therapy, and what you hope to change.

My approach is strengths-based and draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, and other supportive interventions. Depending on your needs, our work may include building coping and emotional regulation skills, improving self-esteem, managing stress, understanding patterns in thoughts and behaviors, or working through experiences that continue to affect your everyday life.

I want clients to recognize that struggling does not mean you are incapable. Difficult experiences can affect how we see ourselves, but they do not erase the strengths we already have. My goal is to help you recognize those strengths, develop practical tools, and feel more confident in your ability to navigate life.

Starting therapy can feel unfamiliar, and you may not know exactly where to begin. We can start with what is on your mind and take the process one step at a time. I hope to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest, feel genuinely heard, and know that your experiences will be met with patience, compassion, and respect.
