WINSOME ASHLEY

Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, and other evidence-based approaches, I tailor therapy to your individual needs, experiences, and goals.

Together, we will explore the patterns that may influence how you think, feel, and respond while developing practical strategies to strengthen emotional regulation, build resilience, and move forward. Your treatment should reflect who you are, not simply the problem that brought you to therapy.

With more than 19 years of healthcare experience, I bring a broad perspective to behavioral health, suicide prevention, public health, and clinical care. I work with individuals experiencing concerns such as depression, grief and loss, trauma, suicidal thoughts, relationship challenges, emotional difficulties, and major life transitions. I approach each session with the understanding that you are not a diagnosis, a number, or simply a problem to solve. You are a whole person whose experiences, strengths, values, and story deserve to be understood. Sometimes, progress begins right where you are, one step at a time, one day at a time, brick by brick.

You deserve more than simply having someone listen. During our first session, we will take time to understand what brings you to therapy, what you have been experiencing, what matters most to you, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process.

We will discuss your current concerns, goals, experiences, and relevant background to develop a clearer understanding of your needs and establish a thoughtful treatment plan together. You will have space to speak openly and at your own pace as we begin to understand your story and what has brought you to therapy.

Remember, you are not a diagnosis, a number, or simply a problem to solve. You are greater than what a single lens can capture. You are a person, not merely the story that brought you to therapy.
If you are ready to begin exploring your concerns, discovering your strengths, and navigating your journey toward recovery and healing, I invite you to take the first step.

I am a licensed therapist who believes that meaningful healing begins with being genuinely seen, heard, and understood. You do not have to have everything figured out before you begin. Wherever you are in your journey, we can begin there, together, with compassion, intention, and without judgment.

My role is not to define your story, but to help you understand it, navigate what you are experiencing, recognize your strengths, and move toward the life you want to build.
